Yes, it has been ages. Not much has been going on aside from work. I barely have time to draw for myself, but I will pump out a sketch every now and again. Here is one of those sketches.

Hooookay. Serious neglect.

I've been drawing, barely, since I started work at Decode Entertainment here in good ol' Toronto.
I need to update both my website and my blog, and I'll hopefully do so this weekend.

Ack!

It's been waaaaay too long since I last updated this thing. Many things have happened since.

1. I've got my noir.radiotrash.org website up and running
2. I've finished my short film Spelling Pee (as can be seen below)
3. I've graduated from Sheridan College's Animation program

I'm not really sure whether what I'm feeling right now is relief or anxiety. Now I have to find a job!

Industry Day is today and here I am sitting in my pjs frantically getting everything prepared haha!

Over the next few days there will be a massive sketch dump of all the little doodles I managed to somehow find time for over this past year, but until then, have a look at the first version of my film. It's since been edited to add space between the two children instead of such a jarring cut.

Excuses, excuses...

Okay, so I actually have a legitimate excuse for not updating! Between family troubles, initial leica reel making and lifedrawing portfolios, I've been pretty f-ing busy! But now it is Reading Week and I've already started to celebrate, not by working on my film life I should, but by working on some personal art as well as finishing up a few that have been collecting dust on my harddrive (like the one in the post below. It's about 80% done now). I'm awesome at this priority thing ;P

Hello Everyone!

Long time no update! I've just gotten back from Ottawa and the Ottawa Film Festival. I had a great time and saw many wonderful and inspiring films. I'm looking forward to working on my own!

I'm currently visiting the folks, and don't have access to a scanner at the moment, so updates will be on hold until I get back to Oakville tomorrow. I have lots to show!

So now that the films are over (yay~!) I have more time to doodle and paint. Or at least that's the plan...

So to start off here is the latest progress of that previous drawing!




I will hopefully get her finished tonight then I can work on the rest this next week.

It's 3:30am and I'm updating? Yep. Today has been a weird long day so now I'm watching Futurama and doodling. These are some drawings and whatnot I found on my harddrive that I kinda like and don't remember posting anywhere.

Been working on this one off and on since the summer, but never really had the time to spend to finish it. I will one day....one day....


I really like the lineart for the sword. I need to redo the colours.


This is just a little doodle of two of my oldest characters. This is the happy ending they were never going to have. I'm mean to my creations.


And to end a random sketch I drew around fall of last year. I believe I was pining for summer. Now I really wish it was summer.



To update on the drawing from my last post, it's coming along nicely and I'm almost finished drawing all the elements. Can't wait to put this sucker together.
